Smallville's Laura Vandervoort to Guest Star on Haven
Smallville alum Laura Vandervoort has landed a Haven-ly gig, booking a double-episode arc on the Syfy series. In the 12th and 13th episodes of Season 3 (premiering Friday, Sept. 21 at 10/9c), Vandervoort will play a highly intelligent and (duh) beautiful woman who has returned to Haven for the latest cycle of Trouble.
Alas, her visit isn’t a peaceful one; rather, she is driven to the brink of madness by the loss of a loved one.

NEW YORK – August 22, 2012 – WWE Superstar Edge (aka Adam Copeland) will return to Syfy’s hit series Haven, appearing in multiple episodes of the show’s third season including the premiere, September 21 at 10PM ET/PT. WWE Superstar Edge will reprise his role of Dwight Hendrickson, a shrewd, longtime Haven
resident and “Troubled” handyman who can truly handle anything, and
often does, as the town’s “Cleaner.” A close ally of Nathan’s (Lucas
Bryant), Dwight helps to cover up all of the town’s supernatural goings
on and to keep Haven’s secrets hidden.
Season three of Haven
picks up immediately following the events of the gripping season two
finale with Audrey having been brutally kidnapped; Nathan warned against
pursuing a romantic relationship with Audrey; and Duke (Eric Balfour)
seemingly engaged in a fight to the death with Nathan after he discovers
his family lineage is to kill Haven citizens with troubles.
I think we already knew this, but this article confirms it.

Cast Discusses Season 3
Here are some of the topics that they discussed:
- How many seasons does Haven have in it. They revealed the writers know the ending already.
- Bonus material for Haven season 2 DVD
- Season three guest stars including, EP Shawn Piller’s dog
- No Christmas episode, but there will be a Halloween episode.
- Overall theme of season 3 — answers about the mythology. Audrey will have a time clock this season. Reveal the history of the town, and some storylines will conclude.
- There will be a “deadline of sorts.”
- Audrey discovers more about all the different people that she is.
- Learn more about the troubles, what they are, the scope of them, etc.
- The scenery of Nova Scotia where Haven films
- The move from summer to fall seasons
- Eric’s favorite episodes
- Emily’s involvement in a Los Angeles theatre and their side projects when filming is over

Looks like the writers are already working on the season finale, as Sam Ernst, one of the show's creator, tweeted yesterday:
Breaking the season finale of #haven. So much juggling. Gonna be unbelievable tho -especially the last scene. So many secrets so little time
Hopefully, it will be a "season finale". It depends on the fans.
