I know and I am sorry for forgetting Eric Balfour's birthday this year but it is not to late to wish him a happy birthday and send him a big hug. Happy Birthday Eric! By the way, his birthday was on April 24.
SyFy is aiming to show off all of its shows to fans of hits like Haven and new show Defiance with its SyFy Sync app.
The
app launched today with a focus on new show with Defiance, which is
being promoted alongside a multiplayer game on consoles and PC when it
launches worldwide next week.
Available now for iPad and Android,
SyFy Sync will feature behind-the-scenes news, photos, videos, episode
guides, sneak peeks, and interviews for Defiance when it launches on
April 16.
Users
will also be able to follow and comment about the show on Twitter and
see original online-only episodes, with more of the channel’s hits, such
as Haven, following through the year.
Bruce Mitchell, of SyFy’s
owner NBCUniversal, said: ““After piloting Syfy Sync with the UK
premiere of Defiance, we will explore opening up the app to other
content on the channel, to cross-promote content between audiences.”
When
shows are on air, SyFy Sync will offer exclusive extras as they’re
broadcast, giving viewers in-depth information on characters and events.
Set
in the near future, Defiance follows the human and alien survivors of
an interstellar war, which has transformed the Earth, as they struggle
to build a new society. It will launch alongside a massively multiplayer online game where players can take part in events around the TV show’s story.
