The Colorado Kid's 'Story Isn't Finished,' When Will James Cogan Return?
The Haven production wheels have started spinning once more, and new season 5 spoilers are slowly starting to trickle out.
The first of these small tidbits involves the Colorado Kid (Steve Lund). Missing since the end of season 3, it sounds like Nathan (Lucas Bryant) and Audrey/Sarah's (Emily Rose) child has a good possibility of re-entering the story at some point in the future.
"[There is] always a chance!" explained writer Brian Millikin. "But his story isn't finished, for sure."
James Cogan's reintegration into the series would come as welcome new for Lund who often wonders what fate befell his character after the Barn collapsed (see video below).
"I've been trying with all of my might to get back on Haven. I know there are some people that want to see the Colorado Kid back on the show," Lund told Zap2It, explaining that he often asks Haven's executive producer Shawn Piller if he can return.
Originally based on Stephen King's novel, The Colorado Kid, Haven has taken on a life of it's own - a fact that Millikin is quick to remind viewers.
"Alas, the source material was but a leaping off point compared to where we are now!" Millikin informed fans.

Haven Season 5 Prepares For Filming
Haven is gearing up for a whole host of season 5 troubles.
"Two new scripts. 4 days to camera. Sets almost up. Camera hair make up tests today. Everyone's arriving. It's gonna be great! #Haven," wrote director/executive producer Shawn Piller on Tuesday.
Originally based off of Steven King's The Colorado Kid, the Syfy series takes place in the fiction town of Haven, Maine - a place with a complicated past and a dangerous secret. The plot revolves around the work of Audrey Parker (Emily Rose), Detective Nathan Wournos (Lucas Bryant), and Duke Crocker (Eric Balfour) as they fight to protect Haven from the Troubles and unravel the town's supernatural past.
The series ended season 4 on a major cliffhanger, and fans have been waiting doggedly to find out what will happen in the aftermath of William's (Collin Ferguson) fall into the world of the Barn. With Duke and Jennifer (Emma Lahana) near death, Audrey under the sway of her original self, and Dave (John Dunsworth) in a trace like state from the portal, there are only a select few characters who will have their wits about them when season 5 premieres.
