In "Real Estate", a special Halloween episode of Haven, the things you own, own you, says John Dunsworth.

Airing Nov. 2 at 10 p.m. on Showcase, the episode, directed by Jason Priestley, was filmed at a house a couple of kilometres outside of Chester reputed to be haunted. Dunsworth has played Dave Teagues, who with brother Vince (Richard Donat), owns the local paper The Haven Herald, for all three seasons on the South Shore-shot show.
He describes the house as “gothic, big and scary.”

“I know the crew felt claustrophobic and couldn’t wait to get out of the house because of the presence they said they felt.”

Donat says he doesn’t think anyone saw anything in particular, but the house had doors and windows in odd places.

“It’s a very strange place. Someone told me it was a stagecoach stop on the old road.”
