Season 3 Top 10 Moments - Moment #7: Duke Kills Someone

This is one of my biggest questions. Is he going to give in? Duke has evolved a lot from the first episodes (best character development) and even his relationship with Nathan has improved (because despite learning about Duke's fate, he's tried to prove Nathan and Audrey that he can avoid it). Yes, he's changed for the better but his fate is clear: he is destined to make the troubles disappear even it means killing people who never asked for their trouble. Duke feels the need and the pressure to kill this man whose trouble was, in my opinion, the creepiest one so far, in order to free the rest of his family from their terrible future. You might think Audrey made him do it, but it was his decision.

Season 3 Top 10 Moments - Moment #8: Tension Grows Between Nathan and Duke... and Audrey.

Several moments here... After believing that Duke may have something to do with Audrey's abduction and learning about Duke's fate, Nathan rejects Duke whenever he has the chance and avoids sharing information from cases with him.  Also, as Audrey finds out that she may have been in love with the Colorado Kid, she pushes Nathan away in order to protect him from being hurt or killed. This leaves Nathan confused and angry, and also a little jealous when Audrey is spending more time with Duke.

Season 3 Top 10 Moments - Moment #9: The Bolt Gun Killer Appears

In what I think was a great subplot, Haven gets a serial killer and he may be creepier than all the troubles in town. It is later revealed that he may be building a woman but we don't know for what purpose. He is called "The Bolt Gun Killer" for its MO, and he is a suspect in Audrey's abduction. Later, we find out that he uses other people's skins to change his look making him a "skinwalker", which might be a trouble. And so far, we haven't found out who he is.

Ratings: The Farmer

With the MLB postseason already in, Haven was up from last week to a 0.4 in the 18-49 adult ratings. It was also up in viewers.

Which is good news! Please keep watching and I guess that if it averages 0.4-0.5, chances are it will be renewed.

Haven Review: Buddy TV

WARNING SPOILERS AHEAD

Just when you think the Troubles can't get any more twisted and confusing on Haven, we get an episode like "The Farmer." New faces, creepy organ removal and heroes in crisis make this one of the darkest Haven episodes yet! So why not relive it with this review?

The Existential Angst of Audrey Parker

Not surprisingly, considering that she was told in the last episode that she had only 49 days left in Haven, Audrey is in a bad mood throughout "The Hunter." Duke deals with this pretty well, mostly because he knows exactly what's wrong. Nathan, on the other hand, spends a good part of the episode having no idea why Audrey is being cold, distant and honestly kind of mean.

Audrey Parker really isn't at her finest here. It seems that her fighting spirit has been crushed by yet another "Haha! You're not a real girl!" Haven twist. Even when both Duke and Nathan urge her to resist fate and plot her own destiny, Audrey isn't interested.

The end result? Audrey is on the outs with both of her Haven guys. Nathan can't take being pushed away yet again -- even with good reason -- and Duke... Well, let's just say Duke has a very good reason to be angry with Audrey by the end of "The Farmer."

Haven Review: TV Fanatic

Haven 'The Farmer' Pic

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

If you recall, in my review last week I had the sneaking suspicion that Audrey would push Nathan away because of The Hunter. I also thought she would fail to tell him about it.
As "The Farmer" began, she had yet to tell him, but when she discovered he was making plans for them months in advance, she surprised me and put it out on the table. Thank you, Haven, for doing the unexpected and proving me wrong. That's only one of the many reasons I cannot get enough of the show.
Duke's desire to help Audrey is not only admirable, but he has really great advice. Sure, some of it seems like mere words, goodies like 'I choose how to live my life and so can you...' but he's not far off the mark when your residence is Haven. Duke's destiny was to kill the Troubled and he proved he didn't have to follow it.
Disappearing, reappearing and having no memory of your Trouble, as Audrey does, might have a different nuance to it, but something tells me the Teague brothers have more to share that can help in that regard. They could have a lot of information they're holding back on the why of her leaving and the how. Time will tell.
The Trouble this week was pretty disgusting.
