Thought on Sarah

I don’t know where to begin with… So I’ll begin by saying that I love the time travel plot and I think they did it just fine.

So who’s the father of the Colorado kid? We still don’t know for sure. Who do I think is the father? I would have to say Nathan and here’s why.
First of all, back in episode 6, when Audrey remembers herself as Lucy in the flashback, for a moment I thought that James Cogan was Nathan (or Lucas, whatever). I had noticed it in a previous episode, in the flashback she has with him on the bach, but I didn’t want to get my hopes up. But it was there and many people noticed it.
How many times was Audrey able to tell Nathan that Sarah was the Colorado kid’s mother? Like 3. Or 4. But she didn’t tell him until well… he had been with Sarah.
There’s a big possibility that Nathan and Sarah did it on the beach or on the way to the hospital or on the first chance they had. Sarah, just like Audrey, trusts Nathan so much without any explanation, maybe due to some unexplained bond that has had them together for years… or maybe it’s some sort of conspiracy that has these two programmed to trust each other whenever they meet. I’d rather think is the first one.
I hope that Nathan is so much more than being the chief of police, than being the guy in love with Audrey. What I mean is, Duke can end a trouble, Audrey helps the Troubled and Nathan? I hope his character can still show us more and becomes an important part of the plot.
For all those who are saying that Nathan cheating on Jordan and Audrey let me tell you that, it’s not true. I don’t think his relationship with Jordan is defined and isn’t Audrey and Sarah kind of the same person?
I still wonder if Duke will surrender to his fate. I’m sure it must’ve been very hard for him to witness his grandfather being killed.
So both Sarah and Audrey meet Nathan on their first day in Haven? Talk about fate.
And I thought it was really sweet that Audrey used the word “baby” instead of child or son. The look on her face says it all. Imagine how she will react if the baby is Nathan’s. Would she feel betrayed? Or happy?
Let me know. I love your comments.

Found "Perfect Plan" On Line... But There's a Catch

Hello!

I went to see "La Boheme" last night and when I got back home, I wasn't sleepy at all so, after watching "Sarah", I did another search and finally! I found the TV movie on line called "Perfect Plan", which was the first time Lucas Bryant and Emily Rose worked together before Haven.

Their chemistry on screen is undeniable. I sometimes think that in this life you are meant to meet people who will you have amazing chemistry with: people you are meant to be with. And I think it's their case.

The catch is: the movie is dubbed in Spanish. From Spain :) (I mean the accent is completely different from the one spoken in Latin America. Personally I love ALL accents).

If you don't speak Spanish but still want to watch, go to this link and scroll down to a header that reads "ESPAÑOL (ALTA CALIDAD – DVD R)" and to watch click on "Sin Cortes".

I hope you enjoy it.

And if somebody finds the link of the movie in English, please share!

P.S. The movie is about Lauren Baker played by Emily Rose, that works as a real estate agent, who makes the deal of her life with Sean, played by Lucas Bryant, but things are not how she thought they would be. Fraud, lies and murder are involved.

Get ready to see Emily Rose with longer hair as beautiful as always, Lucas Bryant with a full beard and shirtless, and a little flirting between both of them. Not that we're not used to it. And by the way, the movie is pretty good.

Review: The Time Space Continuum

WARNING: This review contains spoilers

Yippee!!! I get to say time space continuum.

Of course, I normally say space time continuum, but Nathan chose the phrasing, and I'll follow his lead. After hearing a lot about "Sarah," she was finally introduced to us when a Troubled man spotted Duke and Nathan, who he recognized from the past... in 1955. We had a genuine time loop that seemed to keep Sarah in Haven to help the Troubled.

Her first case? Returning Duke and Nathan to 2012.

Present or Past

Holy moly what a fantastic premise. I knew the episode was going to feature Duke and Nathan going back in time, but the changes it made to the future and both of them running into their relatives in the past were amazingly well done. Emily Rose completely changed to be Sarah. From the inflection of her voice to the mannerisms, the transformation was incredible.

It was an emotional roller coaster, watching Duke get to know the grandfather he had never met while trying to save his life. Nathan also ran into Chief Wuornos as a little boy playing policeman, while Audrey was visited by him as his old self, alive and kicking, in a Haven that had been radically altered due to the rift in time. It's not very often I get teary eyed watching Haven, but I found myself wiping my eyes more than once during "Sarah."

If anything, there are more questions after this episode than there were going into it. We all had our hopes that maybe Nathan and Sarah would find they way into each other's arms (and other parts) to create The Colorado Kid, and unless they cut some scenes and held out on us, I don't think Nathan and Sarah got past first base. I dare say Nathan's chemistry with Sarah was deeper than what he has with Audrey. Before you get bent out of shape, check out my reasoning.

Promotional Photos - 3.10 Burned

Recap: Sarah

WARNING:  This article contains spoilers

The Trouble with Sarah is also the Trouble with time travel. Which makes sense, considering that Sarah existed way back in 1955. So how do we get to know this lady? More importantly, what do we find out about Sarah Vernon (later Lucy Ripley, later Audrey Parker)?

Check out this Haven recap for "Sarah" to find out.

Duke Travels Through Time, Ends Up in Jail

"Sarah" begins with Duke absently looking through his grandfather's old journal. On the final page, he finds a name, Stuart Moseley. Because Duke is apparently bored or something, he goes to track down this guy.

Bad choice. Stuart Moseley is an old man with a fondness for tomatoes and an inconvenient tendency to zap people into the past when he gets nervous. And Duke makes Stuart nervous.

Zap!

Duke is on a beach. He has no cell-phone reception, which turns out to be logical because he is now in 1955. This is disconcerting. So Duke does exactly what we would expect of him -- gets a drink at the Grey Gull.

None of this would be too bad if a bar fight hadn't broken out right then. Duke isn't involved, but he does grab the nice bartender just before the guy impales himself on a broken chair.

The bartender is fine -- and grateful -- but the police mistake Duke for a fighter (probably because he has long hair) and haul him off to jail.

Amusingly, the Haven police department hasn't changed much in 57 years. Same building, same likelihood that someone with a Guard tattoo is hanging out. At least being in the station gives Duke the idea to send a letter through time to Audrey.

Interviewing Haven’s Bromantic Duo – Lucas Bryant and Adam Copeland

GEDC0183

Lucas Bryant and Adam Copeland of “Haven” are two pretty men. In fact, they’re so pretty, they’re bromance-worthy. When Eric Balfour stopped by for a Balfour-Bryant kiss, it made the interview even MORE bromantic.

Lucas Bryant and Adam Copeland might not be brothers, but they play them on TV. OK. Maybe Lucas’s curmudgeonly troubled cop, Nathan, and Adam’s curmudgeonly troubled fixer, Dwight, aren’t actual brothers on Haven, but they’re as close as brothers can get. Nathan and Dwight always have each others backs and always look out for each other. Heck, considering both wore matching well-worn leather jackets atop classic, well-loved white t-shirts, they came across as twins who dress the same way by default. Eric Balfour jumping into the interview while Lucas answered one of my questions. The resulting Balfour-Bryant snog made the roundtable EVEN more bromantic.

Duke's Relatives in Next Friday's Episode

Hey fans, are you ready to meet some more of Duke's relatives? Then don't miss this Friday's new episode at 10/9c on ! RT!!!

One More Review: Magic Hour Part 2

Haven's been renewed for a fourth season by Syfy! Sound the church bells! Throw a party! Rejoice! If cliffhangers like last week's are any indication of how the season will end (and it probably will because Haven loves a cliffhanger season finale) this is going to be a huge comfort in a few weeks' time.

For now, we've returned to Haven and Nathan's lifeless corpse and Audrey and Duke freaking out. The Troubled Bolt Gun Killer aka Tommy starts lying about Noelle shooting him and then running away. Audrey calls him on that making no sense, thankfully, and takes off after him because seriously, why would you shoot at the only person who can bring your dead friend/love interest back to life? No reason.

The hunt for the Troubled resurrectionists has a ticking clock and it's coupled with the fact that hey, they're running around with TTBGK. Of the many ways that TTBGK is revealed to be Tommy in this episode (and there are a few) one of the most emotionally powerful is the relay from Claudia Black's Moira to Audrey and from Audrey to Duke. Claudia Black's American accent is incredibly sketchy in the episode but she's a good enough actress that I found it hard to care. She was desperate but honest and Audrey has always handled herself masterfully as she contacted Duke. Duke then stole the show dealing one on one with Tommy with the help of an axe. How can you not love Duke Crocker with an axe?

What The "Missing" Report on The Colorado Kid reads...

"James went missing in Nederland Colorado under suspicious circumstances. He was last seen wearing a blue jean jacket, jeans, and brown boots. He may have been traveling with a brown haired woman whose identity is not clear. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Nederland Police Department in Nederland,  Colorado or their local department of the FBI."

He was born on August 31, 1956. So Nathan goes back in time to 1955 and meets Sarah and she is the Colorado Kid's mother... should we be doing the math?

Comments are welcomed as always.

Ratings: Magic Hour Part 2

Haven was down a tenth versus last week to a 0.4 in the 18-49 adult rating but it was up in viewers.

Kate Kelton talks Bisexuality and Being a "Human Taser" on "Haven"

The world of science fiction television got a boost of sexiness lately when actress Kate Kelton ascended into the world of Haven, the SyFy series currently airing its third season. In the series, Kelton plays the mysterious Jordan who inhabits the trouble (the name for a power or affliction that someone might possess) of emitting jolts of electricity whenever she touches another human being. But she is also working with a group called The Guard that, at this point, seems to be up to no good.

While her "trouble" might keep Jordan at arms length, the same cannot be said for Kelton, who during our recent chat with her at West Hollywood hotspot The Abbey, exuded the kind of good cheer and gregarious conversation that is immediately engaging. (And I think you’ll agree that the same can be said for the photos we shot of her, too!)

During the chat with AfterEllen.com, the 34-year-old Kelton touched on the mystery of Jordan, how she’d love to see some hot scenes with Audrey (played by Emily Rose) and also opened up about her own coming out as bisexual, what she thinks of Lindsay Lohan and Portia de Rossi and what embarrassing song can be found on her iPod.

Thought on Magic Hour Part 2 - Spoilers

This is the kind of episode that makes you ask yourself "Can this get any better?", because that's exactly what I did.
I enjoyed the drama of this episode, specifically Audrey's desperation for trying to find Noelle and trying to trigger Moira's trouble. She definitely had no mercy.
I believe that one of the best things from Haven is the bond between the three main characters, despite their differences and fates. Duke seemed upset and sad about Nathan's situation and happy that he was back.
Now I am convinced that after Audrey's confession to Nathan, even when he didn't listen, will change things between them for the best. Also, I'm sure Audrey didn't push Nathan away in the final scene. She might see what Jordan and Nathan have and she walks away, but she knows her relationship with Nathan is stronger than ever because she now knows how she really feels. If you noticed, when Audrey walks away from him Nathan follows Audrey her his eyes and then looks at Jordan. As if he felt interrupted or something.
And Duke will step aside also. He knows Audrey's true feelings now. But I'm not so sure as to how Jordan will react. Will she keep fighting for Nathan?
Vince seeing the barn was creepy. No idea what kind of trouble Tommy has, and Dwight has the tattoo!
And, did we hear everything we had to hear about Lucy Ripley? I'm sure that story is not over yet.
One more thing: Duke has the best lines of the series!

I'd love to read your thoughts :D

Review: Magic Hour Part 2

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Haven, has the best recaps of any series I watch. “Magic Hour (Part 2)” started off with a handy recap of last week’s episode that made it easy to jump right into the second half of this story line even if you had missed the crazy cliffhanger last week. Even if I remember exactly what happened in the week before, these recaps really help to get the emotional setting into place especially when we’re talking about opening a scene with everyone standing around Nathan’s dead body.

Nathan spent most of this episode as a limp body. I think that most of us anticipated that Noelle and/or Moira would play an important role in bringing Nathan back from the dead, but I didn’t expect that Audrey and Duke would find Noelle and Moira right away only to have them not be able to help Nathan until the very end of the episode.

Going into this episode, I had convinced myself that there was no way that Haven would kill off Nathan, but the way the second half of this story progressed, I was constantly doubting my conviction. There was a whole new level of suspense tied to the permanence of Nathan’s death since Noelle was out and Moira wasn’t Troubled. I had never seen Audrey attempt to forcibly activate a Trouble before and Moira’s character presented a challenge to Audrey’s plan.

'Haven' Recap: The Trouble with Bitterness and Serial Murder
When last we checked in to Haven, things were bad. One of the main characters lay dead. A secondary character was revealed to be a serial killer. Would Audrey and Duke -- unaware of what happened -- be next? Find out in this "Magic Hour" part 2 recap.

A Car Trunk Has Room for At Least Two Dead Bodies
Picking up from right where we left off in "Magic Hour" part 1, this second episode starts with Audrey and Duke tearing off wildly in search of Noelle. You know, so she can bring Nathan back from the dead. Tommy, being the killer and all, isn't so excited about the plan, but he doesn't really have any easy objections. So he goes looking for Noelle too.

Noelle is injured and has been dating her paramedic partner, so it's an obvious choice to follow the formerly dead Joseph straight to injured Noelle. The plan works, kind of.

Unfortunately, it's Tommy who finds Noelle first. He smothers her with a pillow, and the others think she just died earlier.

So Noelle goes in the trunk with Nathan. This is a problem. But at least it's roomy in there.

But Audrey soon has a possible solution. She realizes, from documents found on Noelle's body, that the girl's sister Moira might also have the resurrection Trouble. They figure Moira would hide at one of her housekeeping client's houses. Audrey goes to one while Tommy and Duke hit another.

Haven Cast Let Their Hair Down At NYCC

GEDC0098

The cast and producers of ‘Haven’ graced the New York Comic Con stage in October. During the panel, I realized why Eric Balfour’s fans love him, why the male cast members love each other and why we love the show.

Basically, everything you’d expect from a young, interactive cast and writing staff happened in the New York Comic Con Haven panel. Everyone just relaxed and let their hair down. Eric Balfour (Duke) and Lucas Bryant (Nathan) fist-bumped each other. Cast and crew all pretended they didn’t want Stephen King (whose novel started it all) on the show. Of course they do! Charles Ardai is still working his magic. The producers joked that Nathan is better looking than Lucas while Lucas casually lounged against Emily’s chair.

I always like panels and in-person interviews because you get a chance to see how actors tick. No matter how press-prepared they are, their feelings towards certain events always leak through. Emily literally glowed while describing her love of the Sarah character. Eric Balfour might be pretty, but, he isn’t a pretty boy. Mentally, he fires on all cylinders. He complimented Adam (aka the Edge) as proving a better actor than wrestler. And he meant it. Basically, if you think Edge is a kickass wrester, wait until you see him act. Speaking of Eric Balfour, why is our favorite long-haired hippie growing his hair out? To play the original long-haired hippie, Jesus, in a zombie flick.

Eric Balfour: "Lena Dunham's Girls captures the world I grew up in"

Girls
It’s just smart and funny, and it has done this amazing thing where it has really captured this world of people that I know and had grown up with. It captures New York City in a really neat way that, as hyper-realistic as it is it, feels very true. I think it’s really funny.

Game Of Thrones
I think Game Of Thrones has been genius and I really don’t want it to end. Every episode is huge. It’s totally immense and the actors are all fantastic in it. It has totally drawn me in.

Whale Wars
This is actually a reality show from the Animal Planet channel, chronicling the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, which defends whales and dolphins from being slaughtered. The show itself is amazing but so is the organisation. I’m a big supporter of it, so I follow the show religiously.

My Favourite TV Character
It’s probably still Alex P Keaton from Family Ties, played by Michael J Fox. He’s nothing like me and the Keatons were nothing like my family – well,  I guess that’s not true, his parents were old hippies and so were mine – but he’s one of the reasons I wanted to become an actor. I thought he was so enigmatic and funny and such a contradiction because, in one sense, he was this very straight-laced, miniature Republican but he was also this really sweet kid who cared about his family. Fox is a genius comedian and I loved that character.

Eric Balfour stars in Haven, Tuesdays at 9pm on Syfy.

Matt's Inside Line: Scoop on Nathan and Audrey

Any chance that fans of Haven‘s Nathan/Audrey (Naudrey) will have something to look forward to anytime soon? All this angst and moments with other people *cough* Jordan *cough* is killing us. –Aimee
Your patience, it seems, will be rewarded. “Audrey has been pushing Nathan away to protect him from her own fate,” EP Jim Dunn notes. “But very soon, Audrey will confront a tragedy that makes her realize just how deep her feelings for Nathan really are.” In other news, I have nailed down Laura Vandervoort’s Haven visit: The Smallville alum will appear in the final two episodes of the season, airing Friday, December 14 and Friday, December 21.

Recap: 3.07 Magic Hour Part 1

'Haven' Recap: Death, With a Twist... Or Two... Or Three

I don't know that there has ever been a show better at the surprise twist than Haven.

Throughout the show's three seasons, there have been more jaw-dropping twists than most shows could manage in a decade.

In the first part of "Magic Hour," for example, we didn't just get one twist. We got three. And they were incredible. Get ready to be amazed again with this recap.

The Dead Don't Stay Dead
This Haven begins with a little girl lying dead on a dining-room table. Her parents stand by, waiting. What are they waiting for?

Sunset.

As soon as the Sun disappears, the child leaps up and happily runs out to a porch swing. She seems fine.

Although we're all expecting zombies at this point, the kid seems to be OK the next day as well. Her mother, however, gets run over by an SUV and dies.

Haven is a dangerous place.

Thought on 3.07 Magic Hour Part 1

WARNING: Spoilers Ahead

I don't think Audrey is the mother of the Colorado Kid. That was Sarah. I know I get it, I think the point is, did Lucy have a child as well? Will Audrey become a mother? Is Dave Teagues the father of the Colorado Kid? It was huge. I hope the time comes that Audrey and Nathan put their differences aside and give each other what they need. They're very intelligent characters and that's the way they should solve it.

I believe things will change for Audrey and Nathan for the better. I hope Jordan is not someone they will sacrifice for the worse and I still wonder if Duke will be true to his nature and will try to kill Audrey one day.

Feel free to post your thoughts. Thanks.

Promo: 3.08 Magic Hour Part 2

Review: Magic Hour Part 1

It's been a while since there has been a really evil Troubled person on Haven so this week they slung a sibling at us instead. "Magic Hour" reminded us again how vulnerable the Troubled are even to their own family members. That seems to be a running theme this year, and could be why we've been introduced to The Guard.
